John Pettyfer
A dear friend and club member has recently passed away....
I would hereby like to take this opportunity to inform you that John Pettyfer has recently passed away.
As many probably noticed he did not attend any of the last club rides as he was diagnosed with cancer last year July. Dis pite his brain tumor he carried on his life as normal, determent not to let it effect him or to let any one know. Unfortunately his illness got the better of him over the last few weeks which lead to his passing away peacefully early hours Monday morning the 25th of July 2011 surrounded by his family.
Our thoughts are with his wife and children.
I know he will be missed by many and life will not be the same without him but I for one feel extremely privileged to have met him and to have been able to call him my best friend...
The next Club Ride will be held in memory of John
We will be adding £5.- to the usual expenses for the ride which will go towards Brain tumor Research.
